A children's farm park and charming model village are found nearby and the Anglesey Sea Zoo, the largest marine aquarium in Wales, provides a fascinating insight into the life around our shores and a great family day out, whatever the weather. The elegant town of Beaumaris (8 miles), site of a splendid castle built by Edward I, also offers puffin and seal watching cruises – one of the highlights of a holiday on Anglesey. Golf, riding and walking are enjoyed locally and Snowdonia's wealth of outdoor activities are easily accessible. Shops are 4 miles away in the village of Llanfair PG (full name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!) and in Bangor, 6 miles.

Excellent cottage and location, wonderful views . Well situated for Anglesey attractions. Good area for walking and water sports. (Caution for summer occupants with very young children as the high tide comes right up to perimeter walls of the cottage and the wall is low enough for them to climb on.)

I am not sure I want too many others to know abot this place as we all want to go again. It was in an ideal spot for the canoers and boat watchers. The fishermen and walkers were also catered for. It was even lovely in the rain.
